Those who underwent the lemonade cleanse diet have less of an idea of what foods are good for them to eat after the ordeal. So before one starts the lemonade cleansing diet, it is also necessary to plan through carefully and search on foods that one should eat. This article will help one know the foods that they should eat and also avoid.

For many health reasons, foods that one should avoid are those that don't offer anything good and healthy to the body. Junk foods are one of the foods that are unhealthy, these have no nutrients in them and are high in harmful elements. Other unhealthy foods include cholesterol rich foods, salty foods, acidic foods, preserved, processed and highly seasoned meat products. These food products have high amounts of chemicals, preservatives and additives in them that are most harmful to the body.

On the contrary, water is most helpful for your body. Water makes your body well hydrated and washes away all harmful toxins and wastes that have been accumulated, it also helps in constipation problems as it pushes out solid waste. The daily recommended dosage that one should maintain at all times is 8-10 glasses of pure water. You need as much water for your body to be clean. Freshly made fruit juices are also another option that you can take if you prefer those with flavors as these are also high in anti-oxidants like watermelon juice, orange juice, strawberry juice, pineapple juice and others.

Foods that are high in fiber are best in detoxifying the body. Fiber can be from whole grains or nuts, fruits, vegetables, and seeds. Fiber, after a detoxifying diet helps keep the body clean. Fiber can be in the form of soluble and insoluble products. Soluble fiber is responsible for building good bacteria needed for digestion as well as absorption of food. Insoluble fiber on the other hand helps in the relief of moving solid wastes outside the body.

Chlorophyll is another good nutrient that you should eat more from different foods. You can find chlorophyll nutrients in barley, alfalfa, wheat grass and others alike. These foods help in the promotion of a healthy and toxin free digestive system, helps relieves constipation, digestion complications as well as supports recovery healing of your digestive tract.
